A tribunal in Dhaka will deliver its verdict on November 6 in a case against Bangladesh national cricket team pacer Shahadat Hossain and his wife Jesmine Jahan Nrittya.
The case was filed over the torture of the couple`s 11-year-old domestic help.
Judge Tanjina Ismail of the Fifth Tribunal for Prevention of Women & Children Repression fixed the date on Monday after the completion of hearing arguments.
On September 6 last year, domestic help Mahfuza Akhtar Happy brought allegations of torture by Shahadat and his wife.
Earlier on October 27, Shahadat and his wife pleaded not guilty and demanded justice while placing their self-defence statements.
