Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal has reached a new milestone of scoring 9,000+ runs in international cricket.
The 27-year old left-hand batsman is the only Bangladeshi cricketer to achieve the feat till date.
Tamim reached the milestone on Sunday while batting against Afghanistan in the first of a three-match One Day International (ODI) series in Dhaka.
He was only 15 runs away before the starting of the match to reach 9,000 runs in Tests, ODIs and T20Is which Tamim achieved easily.
Tamim scored 3118 runs in 80 innings of 42 Tests, 4750+ runs in 53 innings of 52 ODIs and 1154 runs in 52 innings of 52 T20Is.
