Imrul Kayes to replace Soumy Sarkar in1st ODI

In the three match bilateral one day series, Bangladesh will take on visiting England in their first ODI encounter on 7th of October at the Sher – E – Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. The match will begin at 1.30 PM local time.

The home team is on a positive frame of mind as they gained a superlative win in the last encountered match against England in the mega tournament. On the other hand, England is in a bit shaky position; ruling out of Eoin Morgan and Alex Hales due to security concerns curtailed England’s power in their ODI side and the visitors were in trouble in their sole preparation match against BCB XI.

The track of Mirpur Sher – E – Bangla National Stadium might assist the spinner. The last completed series against Afghanistan sought considerable successes to the spinners. Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan performed well in every match of the series taking 6 wickets all together. Mosharraf Hossain Rubel captured 3 wickets in his comeback series and Mosaddek Hossain Saikat, on his debut appearance, blazed both with the ball and bat.

Bangladesh is going to make a single change in their last combined team; inform Imrul Kayes will replace young opener Soumya Sarkar to open up the innings with Tamim Iqbal.

Probable XI: Mashrafe Bin Mortaza (captain), Mushfiqur Rahim (wicket keeper), Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah Riyad, Sabbir Rahman, Mosaddek Hossain Saikat, Mosharraf Hossain Rubel, Shafiul Islam, Taskin Ahmed
