Aguero scores 150th goal as Man City lose to Middlesbrough

Sergio Aguero scored his 150th career goal for Manchester City in his side’s Premier League clash against Middlesbrough on Saturday.
Aguero gave Pep Guardiola’s men the lead right on the stroke of half-time with a close-range finish from Kevin De Buryne’s cross at the Etihad Stadium.
The strike ensured Aguero – who remains City’s sixth all-time top scorer – edged him closer to Joe Hayes and Billy Meredith (152 each) in the club’s charts.
Aguero also moved level with Dion Dublin as the joint-18th highest Premier League goalscorer on 110 strikes.
Manchester City may have beaten Barcelona in the Champions League in midweek but Pep Guardiola’s side have been brought crashing back down to earth with a 1-1 draw with struggling Middlesbrough.
The result is also City’s third 1-1 Premier League draw at home.
