Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Asaduzzaman Miah has said that stern actions will be taken if anyone tries to create anarchy centring Zia Orphanage Trust graft case verdict.
He came up with the warning after inspecting Bangla Academy premises on Tuesday.
“No one is above law. If anyone tries to break any law and create any anarchic situation destroying government’s property, he or she will be punished.
Strong actions will be taken against the anarchist,” said the DMP commissioner.
All the measures will be taken to ensure security on February 8, he said.
On Thursday, the Special Court-5 in Dhaka fixed February 8 to deliver the verdict in the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and five other people.
