Man’s body recovered from Buriganga


Police recovered the floating body of an unidentified man from the Buriganga River in the capital on Sunday night.

Locals spotted the body of the young man, aged around 35, in the night and informed police, said Bijon Kumar Das, sub-inspector of Keraniganj Model Police Station, reports UNB.

Later, police recovered the body from inside a sack where the victim’s hands and legs were tied with a rope and sent it to Sir Salimullah Medical College and Hospital for autopsy, said police.
