The High Court (HC) has stayed activities of Niko graft case against BNP leader Barrister Moudud Ahmed for eight weeks.
The HC bench comprising of Justice Sheikh Abdul Awal and Justice Shahidul Karim passed the order on Thursday.
Moudud himself moved as a lawyer in the court.
Meanwhile lawyer Khurshid Alam moved for Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) while Deputy Attorney General Fazlur Rahman represented the state.
However, the case is running in a lower court against other accused. BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is the prime accused in the case.
