Govt fears Khaleda Zia

BNP Standing Committee Member Nazrul Islam Khan has alleged that the government is filing cases one after another against their party Chairperson Khaleda Zia out of fear.
The BNP leader said this at a programme held at the office of Photo Journalists Association in the city on Saturday noon.
The BNP standing committee member also urged the government to withdraw the sedition case filed against Khaleda Zia.
He also called upon the government to prepare a list of the Liberation War martyrs like that of the freedom fighters.
Defending Khaleda’s remark, Nazrul Islam said the BNP chief did not mention any number of the martyrs in her speech.
Jatiya Ganotantrik Party (Jagpa), a component of BNP-led 20-party alliance, organised the  programme in protest against the false case filed  against  Khaleda Zia.
President over by Jagpa Dhaka city unit President Asadur Rahman Khan, the programme was addressed, among others, by Jagpa President Shafiul Alam Prodhan and General Secretary Khandokar Lutfor Rahman.
