10,000 freedom fighters of Bangladesh’s Liberation War will get five-year multiple entry visas to India, said the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi.
He also announced to provide free medical treatment for 10 thousand freedom fighters in India.
The Indian Prime Minister said those at a function at Manekshaw Convention Centre at Delhi Cantonment to honor 1661 Indian soldiers, who sacrificed their lives during the 1971 Liberation War.
He also announced scholarship for 10 thousand more children of Bangladeshi freedom fighters in India.
Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, foreign minister Abul Hassan Mahmud Ali were also present at the program.
