1 – West Indies skipper Jason Holder’s 62 off 76 was his first ever ODI fifty against Bangladesh. His previous highest against Bangladesh was an unbeaten 22, which he scored at National Cricket ground Grenada in 2014. Overall this was Holder’s eighth fifty in ODIs.
2- West Indies’ score of 247-9 against Bangladesh at Malahide Cricket Club ground on Monday was their second lowest total against the Tigers in neutral venue. Their lowest total against Bangladesh in a neutral venue is 244-9, which they scored at Benoni, South Africa during the 2003 ICC Cricket World Cup.
30 -Bangladesh’s Mashrafee bin Murtaza finished with 3-60 to take his tally against West Indies to 30, the highest by any bowlers in matches involving the two teams.
98 – Shai Hope’s current ODI average against Bangladesh is 98, which is the second highest average against Bangladesh after eight innings. Pakistan’s Mohammad Yousuf tops that list with an average of 102.6 after eight innings.
131 – Pacer Abu Jayed became the 131st cricketer to make his one-day international debut for Bangladesh. The 25-year old cricketer, who was named in the World Cup squad for the 2019 World Cup, earlier played five Tests and three ODIs for Bangladesh.
