State minister for foreign affairs M Shahriar Alam on Tuesday said the government would continue to take effective steps to address pending issues including resolving the Rohingya crisis.
‘Everything is our priority,’ he told reporters at his office.
The state minister also gave importance to economic diplomacy and other core areas.
Shahriar Alam also hoped that Rohingya repatriation process based on the agreed list of verified Rohingyas would begin soon.
Responding to a question, he said efforts would continue to bring back convicted Bangladesh Nationalist Party leader Tarique Rahman.
