ACC probes BFF irregularities, Salahuddin

Anti-Corruption Commission Bangladesh recently ordered Bangladesh Football Federation president Kazi Salahuddin and chief financial officer Abu Hossain to submit documents of their own income and expenditure by February 7.
ACC issued the notice on January 30 to investigate charges of corruption, embezzlement, and irregularities against them.
According to BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag, the ACC had also ordered the football federation to submit the expenditure documents of former FIFA president Sepp Blatter’s tour to Bangladesh in March 2012.
‘We have got a letter from ACC deputy director Nasiruddin Ahmed last week,’ said Shohag on Tuesday.

Shohag also informed that ACC wanted to know the reason behind the delay of paying the winning money of the Bangabandhu Gold Cup to champions team Nepal.
They also wanted to see the documents on complaints made against BFF by two former Bangladesh national team’s Dutch coaches Lodewijk de Kruif and Rene Koster.
Speaking to reporters, Salahuddin refused to make any comment and said that he would give a reply to ACC within a day or two.
