9 Bangladeshis killed in Saudi road crash


At least nine Bangladeshi workers have been killed in a road accident in Jizan province of Saudi Arabia.

More than 15 others injured in the accident.

The incident occurred on the road between the governorates of Samtah and Al-Hareth on Sunday morning

Among the deceased six were identified as—Dulal of Sirajganj, Jasim of Kishoreganj, Saifur Rahman of Tangail, Motiur Rahman of Narayanganj, Idon and Alamgir Hossein of Narsingdi.

The incident occurred when two cars collided head-on, leaving seven Bangladeshi killed on the spot while two other workers died in the hospital, reports private TV station News 24.
