Alia Bhatt hits back at Kangana Ranaut

From accusing Alia Bhatt of nepotism, calling her out for not supporting Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, to naming her Gully Boy’s performance ‘mediocre’, Kangana Ranaut has been leaving no stones unturned to lash out at the young actress.
As if Kangana’s accusations were not piercing enough, her sister Rangoli Chandel has also been attacking Bhatt’s family these days. However, in order to respond to all these accusations, Alia has finally given a befitting reply to both of them., reports India Today.
At a recent event held in Mumbai, Alia told reporters, ‘Agar mai aisi hoon (If I am like this), then my family is 10 times more mature and stronger than I am.’
The Kalank actress, who prefers to steer clear of this row, also said that she doesn’t want to engage in all the controversies surrounding her.
‘Mujhe isme padna hi nahi hai (I don’t want to indulge in this). I just want to be happy, positive, work hard, be a better version of myself every day,’ she added.
About Kangana and Rangoli, Alia slammed the Ranaut’s sisters saying, ‘ Whatever people say, I should not pay attention to it. Everybody has a right to say what they want to say.’
Earlier, Kangana Ranaut lashed out at Alia Bhatt, including her Gully Boy’s co-star Ranveer Singh for refusing to speak on politics. However, later on when Alia was asked to comment on Kangana’s remarks, she supported her for speaking candidly in the public.
‘I definitely don’t have the ability to speak as candidly as Kangana does, and I really do respect her for that and maybe in a way she is right, sometimes we do hold back,’ Alia told reporters at another event.
‘My dad also says that there are already so many opinions in the world that it can do with one less opinion. So, I have an opinion but I’ll keep it to myself. But, kudos to her as she speaks really well,’ she added.
