A fire, that broke out at ‘City Heart Shopping Complex’ in the capital’s Nayapaltan area on Tuesday morning, has been doused after nearly one and half hours of frantic efforts.
Fire service control room sources said that the fire broke out around 7:40am from the second floor of the market.
On information, five firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control around 9:00am.
However, smoke was seen billowing out from the fire but there is no casualty, said duty officer of the control room.
The causes behind the fire could not be known yet.
