NETRAKONA, Jan 13, 2016 (BSS) – State minister for power, energy and mineral resources Nasrul Hamid said today the present government is working sincerely to bring all the houses under electrification network and build up the country as middle-income one by 2021.
“Ninety percent people of the country would be provided with electricity by 2018,” he told as chief guest at a centenary celebration and reunion of Ashuzia high school, Kendua here.
Deputy minister for youth and sports Arif Khan Joy spoke it as special guest with Iftekharuddin Talukder Pintu, MP, in the chair.
It was also addressed, among others, by Chabi Biswas, MP, deputy commissioner Dr. Torun Kanti Shikder, police super Joydeb Chowdhory, chairman of Ashuzia union parishad and president of the school managing committee Abu Taher and head master Ezharul Islam.
Nasrul Hamid urged the students to build up them as “worthy citizen” of the country.
